Approach

Through the healing energy of food, I am powerfully committed to guiding my clients to find freedom from disease and discomfort while experiencing increased energy to live the lives of their dreams. My mission and commitment is to listen to the story of your health journey, provide you with realistic suggestions for diet and lifestyle change, and support you in implementing these suggestions so that you may transform your health and life.

I value connection, communication, and relationships, and care deeply about my clients. The foods and resources I recommend are the ones I have researched diligently over years of practice and have tested on myself when appropriate. These tools have allowed me to cultivate a life of abundance and gratitude while living in harmony with nature. I will share the very aspects that have helped me overcome several severe health challenges of my own, including diabetes, endometriosis, chronic and severe gut inflammation including irritable bowel syndrome and stomach ulcers, Lyme disease, adrenal fatigue, vulvodynia, interstitial cystis, and reoccurring microbial infections and imbalances. My passion is born from my personal profound transformation in my health and well-being from using these tools in my own life.

My insatiable curiosity coupled with a belief in independent thinking leads me to rigorously examine multiple viewpoints.  I then utilize the essence of what I have distilled from medical literature, top health advisors, as well as my clinical and personal experiences

Background

My path to becoming a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner began when I developed multiple chronic health conditions and could not find relief through Western medicine. Though skeptical, I was persuaded to try acupuncture and the benefits I experienced inspired me to complete my Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine and travel to Hangzhou, China to deepen my skills. Like most of us, I was raised on a Standard American Diet (a SAD diet indeed) of highly processed foods, so the nutritional philosophies of Traditional Chinese Medicine intrigued me. My own healing journey eventually led me to pursue certification and training from the Nutritional Therapy Association and onto become part of one of the first classes in Certified Gut and Psychology Syndrome (GAPS) Practitioners, studying directly with the Neurologist who created this amazing healing protocol, Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride.
