Life Mastery Series!   Mondays, 5:30-7:30pm, January 8, 15, 22, & 29                                                                                                                                              

Our bodies are treasure houses of wisdom regarding our own personal path of Truth. In this series we will explore a different body system each month. The Life Mastery Series offers an inspiring and elevating approach to the study of the human body’s interconnected anatomy and physiology  through yogic teachings and ancient healing philosophies. The complexities of the body are presented in a refreshing and approachable style to help us identify and work with the physical anatomy, the mind, the subtle bodies – chakras, meridians, nadis -  integrating body, mind and spirit to give us an in-depth understanding of ourselves.

What to Expect:

  • Teachings on the physiological processes for each body system:
    Through observation of the physical body we can gain insight into the essence of the human being and therefore, find deeper meaning in the unfolding drama of our physiology. By learning to perceive this unfolding we can cultivate a deeper and more authentic relationship with who we are as physical and spiritual beings. This information will be followed by yogic kriyas that allow for the experience of the physiology to be embodied and sensed. The combined teachings provide the opportunity for greater self-awareness and heightened physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

  • Kundalini Yoga & Meditation:
    Kundalini Yoga is the science of the human body, providing an experience of the True Self.  With practice, it bestows understanding and expansion of consciousness to a level of Self Mastery through activation of inner wisdom and intuition..  It provides a way to maintain good health and increase self-awareness.  Kundalini Yoga brings simple techniques to relieve stress and connect with the inner self.  The practice is a complete science of the human body, which combines breath, dynamic postures, sound current, and meditation to balance the nervous system and reset the body's natural flow of energy.   Emphasis is placed on maintaining awareness in any situation or environment, not just in yoga class!   Each practitioner's experience will be unique and will have the capacity to bring an overall state of well-being and peace.  Each session will consist of a full yoga set (or "kriya"), relaxation, and a meditation.

  • Sound Healing

    We perceive sound through every cell of the body. During the relaxation portion of each session, we will employ either singing bowls or the gong for sound healing.  These are ancient and sacred instruments of healing, rejuvenation, and transformation.  Some of the benefits of sound healing include: reduces stress and anxiety, strengthens the nervous system, balances the chakras, increases prana, works deeply on the mental, physical and spiritual bodies, quiets the mind, cutting through the clutter of the subconscious, promotes stillness and well-being, and aids the immune system.

The Sensory SystemsThe life of thinking, feeling, and action within the human being is informed by the outer world as it enters through the five senses and engages with the nervous and endocrine systems. Learning how to work with our senses and integrate the information they provide in a healthy way is a key component to healing and vitality.
